Language. Communication. Connection.
Translation, localisation, quality assurance and English language teaching.
Helping businesses communicate across languages and helping learners build confidence in English.
An Australian based in France, working across languages, cultures and borders.

Words matter. So does how we use them.
I’m Isabella, a language professional based in France, specialising in translation, localisation, linguistic quality assurance and project management.
I work at the intersection of language, culture and communication, helping businesses ensure their content is accurate, natural and appropriate for its intended audience. From reviewing translated content to coordinating linguistic projects, I understand the importance of getting the details right while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
Alongside my language services, I’m expanding into English language teaching, with a focus on helping learners develop practical communication skills, build confidence and use English in real-world situations.
Whether I’m supporting a business with its multilingual content or helping someone feel more comfortable speaking English, my approach is the same: thoughtful, practical and tailored to the people I’m working with.
Professional language services
Translation & Localisation
Translation is about more than replacing words in one language with another. It’s about conveying meaning, tone and intent while making content feel natural to its audience.
I support businesses with language solutions that respect cultural context and maintain the integrity of their message.
- Translation between English and French, where appropriate to the project and language direction
- Website and digital content localisation
- Cultural and linguistic adaptation
- Content review and refinement
Linguistic Quality Assurance
Accurate language is essential to a professional, consistent user experience. Linguistic quality assurance helps identify issues before content reaches its audience.
I review multilingual content to identify errors, inconsistencies and areas for improvement, helping ensure that the final product meets the required linguistic and quality standards.
- Linguistic and editorial review
- Terminology and consistency checks
- Identification and documentation of language issues
- Review of digital content and localisation deliverables
- Quality checks against project-specific guidelines
Language Project Management
Successful language projects require clear communication, careful coordination and attention to detail.
I support the organisation and delivery of multilingual projects, helping manage workflows, coordinate stakeholders and keep deliverables aligned with project requirements.
- Linguistic workflow coordination
- Project tracking and deadline management
- Communication with linguists and other stakeholders
- Quality tracking and issue follow-up
- Support throughout the localisation lifecycle

From Sydney to Paris
An Australian in France, I live between two places, two languages and two ways of seeing. These photographs by travel photographer Thomas Bekker give a glimpse of both.
